Solubility

Soluble in water c. 50, <10(PH1-2),>600(PH7) (all in mg/l, 20° C). In acetone 300, cyclohexanone 150, dichloromethane 10, hexane 0.5, xylene 1.9(g/l, 20° C), and forms water-soluble salts. Stability Stable in storage for at least 6 months at 50° C. Decomposed by light.

Use:

Protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor. Selective herbicide, absorbed by both leaves and roots, with very limited translocation in the phloem. Early post-emergence control of broad-leaved weeds in soya beans
